(version 6.7 or 6.8) you have to download and install the Qt SDK from

Nokia.

The SDK is coming with the Ming compiler environment,

which you have to configure from within Netbeans.

it is a fairly complex procedure. There also seem some

bugs in the version 4. So probably you could consider

downloading an ealier version from here:

  • 2004 LTZ400 radiator steaming?

Theres steam coming out of what i believe is the radiator on the bike. I recently changed my engine coolant and soon after it started doing this, the steam has a sweet smell to it which leads me to believe it is the radiator. Anyways if this is the case im guessing i put the wrong kind of coolant in and was wondering how i properly go about flushing the old coolant out and adding the new coolant.2004 LTZ400 radiator steaming?I want to ask something and I need 2 points... sorry!2004 LTZ400 radiator steaming? What it sound like is not that you put the wrong coolant but that you put to much coolant and not enough water. What you should is to go to autozone or any where like that and buy a tester for to check the coolant. The tester should not cost more then $5. If the coolant is fine then can you email me at supersport69@ymail.com so I can get more information and figure out what is wrong with your bike.2004 LTZ400 radiator steaming?dunno sorry

How do I know when to change the thermostat or know when it isn't working??

I flushed my radiator about three times until water was clear and then refilled with half and half, coolant/distilled water. I did this because it hadn't been done since I bought the truck ('95 Ford Ranger, 107K miles) from a neighbor two years before, plus the fact that the truck's coolant temp gauge needle was going past the middle mark but not all the way into %26quot;H.%26quot; Afterwards, it was a little better, but it still happened once in a while for long trips on the highway. Just changed the air filter w/ a K%26amp;N filter and strangely things seemed to improve, but the needle still moves a little past the middle. I don't know what else to do. So, I'm wondering about the thermostat...How do I know when to change the thermostat or know when it isn't working??If the engine takes too long to heat up then it probably is a bad thermostat. Watch the temp Gage and see if the temperature is in the proper range when the temperature gets up to the proper operating temp then the thermostat will open up letting the water circulate through the engine. You can tell when this happens as you may be able to hear the thermostat click and followed by a sudden and temporary drop in temperature as the cooler water from the radiator starts going through the engine and the warmer water from the engine goes to the radiator to be cooled by the fan also you may sense a sudden and temporary drop in engine speed when the fan kicks in .How do I know when to change the thermostat or know when it isn't working??thermostats go out often. they are easy enough to change and cheap. is your fan working? with it warming up your fan could have shorted out a while ago and it's just now affecting you temp gage. if it is okay. just change the thermostat. if that doesn't work pay for the diagnosticHow do I know when to change the thermostat or know when it isn't working??No idea how your gage is calibrated, but, most of the time a %26quot;stat%26quot; will stick open, not shut. That will cause too low of a temp and no heat from the heater. Too hot (in or real close to)the red and that is more apt to be from some other cause, fan, air flow etc.How do I know when to change the thermostat or know when it isn't working??When your vehicle starts to over heat, check thermostart and when it starts to operate below normal temperaturesHow do I know when to change the thermostat or know when it isn't working??First off what engine do you have? the thermostat should be changed every 2 years. You should have the cooling system pressure checked for leaks.

Car overheating or is it the gauge?

I had to change the water pump on my car, and now the car's temperature gauge shows it is overheating, but it is weird because:

when the car is first started it will run at normal operating temperature (190) for a while, then after a little while once driving it will rise up to 220 degrees and more unless i put the heat on.

I changed the thermostat twice, radiator cap twice, and the temperature gauge sending unit twice and it still does this. It was totally fine until I had to change the water pump. It is just weird how it is fine when the car is first started, and after a little while the temperature starts to rise after a little while once driving the car.Car overheating or is it the gauge? When this happened to a previous car of mine, I had to replace the Mass Airflow System. Quite spendy. It even started to lock up the fuel system and would say that the gas cap was loose, which it was not.

I suggest seeking professional advice. Might be worth it to go to a place that is certified by your vehicle's manufacturer.

How much will insulating the basement walls help keep it warmer?

Right now there is a drop ceiling and the thin paneling on the walls. It gets a bit chilly in the winter and we want to start using it as our family room.

If we rip out the paneling but keep the framing, then insulate and drywall, will we notice a significant change? Our house has radiator heating. I was also thinking about adding a radiator to go in the basement. What do you think?

If we rip out the paneling, we would also like to put in a new ceiling. Should I try to insulate under the new ceiling as well? There is quite a bit of wiring and pipes. If some of the pipes are too low for the ceiling (which the radiator pipes probably will be), we will just pain them white to blend in.

Thanks! How much will insulating the basement walls help keep it warmer?Insulating the walls will help but not as much as insulating the ceiling. When air heats it rises so if you are in the basement the normal flow will be to bring the cooler air down to the basement and the heat to the upstairs. By adding insulation in the ceiling it will help trap the air in the lower part of the house and making it much more comfortable. Good luck

    Bubbles in my overflow tank?

ok, my 95 maxima was overheating, i change the thermostat n radiator. for a while it was still overheating. but now it only overheat due to coolant lost in the overflow tank....sometime ago i ask about bubbbles in my ovrflow tank...the radiator was pushing coolant into my overfow tank and there was bubbles in it...everyone say its a headgasket prob. i went and got it pressure check an they cud not find no leak... SO WHAT ELSE COULD MAKE THE BUBBLES AND COOLANT GO TO MY OVERFLOW TANK?? can a faulty water pump do that? right now it runs fine. but its still pushing coolant in the overflow bottle but the bubbles are little less...i know its not the radiator or cap...how can i no for sure what causing these bubbles ??Bubbles in my overflow tank?It is a blown head gasket, there is a kit you can buy to detect carbon monoxide in the coolant.A pressure check might not find the problem.Bubbles in my overflow tank?are you sure it's not the cap? have you replaced it? The cap is what regulates the pressure in your cooling system. If the spring in the cap wears out or breaks, it would allow coolant back into your reservoir. Make sure if you buy a new cap, it has the right lb. rating (psi)

  • I have a 2003 fiat ducato 2.8td campervan can anyone tell me how to change the coolant/antifreeze?

been trying to see if there is a drain plug anywhere on the radiator and cant find it. there is a jubilee type clip on the hoses but it can not be released using a spanner/screwdriver and its very awkward to get to. is there a easy way?I have a 2003 fiat ducato 2.8td campervan can anyone tell me how to change the coolant/antifreeze?The easiest way is to remove the bottom hose from the radiator end as you have tried to do. Although awkward, if you can just loosen the clip, you might then be able to swivel it round to a better position. Alternately, ask a garage to change it, as it is neither a big nor expensive job.

You can also try this forum : http://www.motorhomefacts.com/ some people here may be able to give advice.

Edit - Contrary to the answer below, the Fiat Ducato 2.8td is one of the best camper base vehicles available. Even the Germans prefer this vehicle over Mercedes campers!I have a 2003 fiat ducato 2.8td campervan can anyone tell me how to change the coolant/antifreeze?First of all, I am sorry that you own a Fix it again Tony.......My wife had a piece of crap Fiat (much older than yours, but mechanically a piece of dried up doo doo) All we did with that car was have it in the shop constantly........it was a joke, and virtually impossible to work on....

I don't know what it is about Fiat, but they do things very strangely and don't make convential parts that you would find on both Japanese and American cars........they do everything completely backwards and very out of date practices..........the one thing you mentioned was there stupid hoses, that you have to use a pair of pliers to pinch the clip so it opens......absolutely dumb and maddening!

    Good luck!!

How do you change a water pump in 1995 silverado 5.7 350?

Coolant is leaking at a good pace from the water pump. I need to replace it. Is this a job that I can do myself? What are the steps? Should I replace the lower hose and flush the radiator too?

Or would it be better to just take it to the mechanic? Whats a fair price for that?

thanks i really appreciate itHow do you change a water pump in 1995 silverado 5.7 350?Based on your questions I would say take it to a mechanic. Have the hoses replaced while you're at it. It's up to you about the flush but the coolant will get replaced in the process anyway. About $100. for quality parts add for labor. How do you change a water pump in 1995 silverado 5.7 350?I would say take it to a shop to have it done. This way everything can be done right. And as with the coolant it needs to be flushed every two years but use prestone anti freeze after the flush.if you go to a parts store and get the parts and anti freeze this way you'll have the parts that is needed for replacement at the shop you take it to.And while your there at the parts store pick up 2 gallons of anti freeze you'll need at least 1 and 1/2 or so gallons of it to refill the system and blend it with water as a top off.But make sure you don't get the 50/50 mix it is half water and half anti freeze.Anti freeze has a higher boiling point to help keep the engine from over heating. You also might want to replace the thremostat also with the same degree of one.Ask the parts store for one and your hoses top and bottom.hgm20002000@yahoo.comHow do you change a water pump in 1995 silverado 5.7 350?If you have a decent tool box you can do it your self . step 1 remove the negative battery cable from the battery. Step 2 Get under the truck and find the drain cock to the radiator. Remove the radiator cap, then put a large pan under the drain cock and open it. Have some floor dry on hand if any spills on the drive way or in the garage floor. You don't want the family pet to even taste it. IT WILL KILL THEM!!! Step 3. remove the hose clamps from the radiator and the motor. when the coolant has drained, remove the upper hose First. then the lower. There may be a little fluid in it.Step 4. get another pan for transmission fluid. Disconnect the transmission lines from the radiator. If the Power steering lines also run to the radiator remove them last. Let the fluid drain from the lines. Step 5. Remove the fan shroud Top First. It is in 2 halves.top and bottom. There are 2 ten millimeter screws that hold the top half of the shroud to the radiator on each side. remove them. Then remove the top half of the shroud. Now for some work Carefully wiggle the bottom half out the bottom of the truck or the top. Then remove the radiator. Step 6. You will need special tools for this step ... A hammer and chisel. You need to tap the fan nut with the chisel , counter clockwise to remove the fan and fan clutch. It will take a little time and patience. Once you get the fan off, you are ready for Step 6. The bolts that hold on the water pump are either 10 or 12 mm. There may also be a %26quot;heater hose connected to the water pump. remove it. Then remove the water pump. Now TIPS ... Get a New Lifetime Warranty Water Punp.... Get New Radiator Hoses and Clamps. Get a New %26quot;No Fail%26quot; Thermostat. Have the radiator vatted and cleaned and pressure tested. Get a New Radiator Cap. Clean the radiator over flow bottle. Use a couple of empty milk jugs to pour the old antifreeze in. Take it to a salvage yard for disposal.. Everything goes back together in reverse order. I recommend %26quot;Ultra-blue%26quot; gasket sealer. Once you have everything back together, Before you fill the antifreeze, add a can of Prestone Water Pump Lube and Sealer. Then ad the antifreeze 50/50 mix. I prefer Prestone.. Good luck Merry Christmas. Any questions E-Mail me

How to change engine coolant in 2004 chevy silverado 3500 (6.6L turbocharged duramax diesel)?

It has a pressurized reservoir, it does not have a cap on the radiator? any help would be appreciated

ThanksHow to change engine coolant in 2004 chevy silverado 3500 (6.6L turbocharged duramax diesel)? The system is filled via the reservoir. There is a small 12mm bleed bolt in the top of the thermostat housing (which is right behind the oil fill tube) that must be removed before you start filling the reservoir. Once your coolant starts coming out of this hole, reinstall the bolt. Then continue filling the reservoir to the full mark. Leave the cap off, start the engine, and fill back up to mark. Put cap on and drive it until it gets to operating temperature, then recheck level and fill to mark. How to change engine coolant in 2004 chevy silverado 3500 (6.6L turbocharged duramax diesel)?open the valve kok on the bottom corner of the radiator, it screws in to drain and out to close. How to change engine coolant in 2004 chevy silverado 3500 (6.6L turbocharged duramax diesel)? If there is not a petcock on the bottom of the radiator you will have to pull the lower radiator hose off. You have to be careful removing the hose and not force anything. When refilling the cooling system you have to bleed any air from the system. This can be tricky and should be performed by a mechanic that knows what he's doing or considerable engine damage can occur from overheating. How to change engine coolant in 2004 chevy silverado 3500 (6.6L turbocharged duramax diesel)?Go to dieselplace.com and surch the forum for ANYTHING U want to know about your truck. Restart 2000 Ford Taurus Computer; want to avoid going to a dealer so I can troubleshoot.?

The car has 130000 on it right now, about 3000 miles ago with the last oil change I had trans flushed, radiator flushed, and a general Jiffy-Lube tune up to clean injectors and such.

Today I was leaving for the dentist and when I started the car it was throttle reving so I turned it off and tried again. After allowing it to go the Emmision Light came on and it returned to idle once I moved it.

I live in Chicago and we just had a bad snow and I did park the car pretty much in a pile of snow and once I got out is when everything was fine. So I would like to know how to restart the memory of the computer so I can turn off the light and reset it to normal to see if the problem happens again.

I would really like to avoid going to the dealer to pay $50 just for a restart when I just bought a set of 4 brand new tires for the thing.

    Questions

    -How to restart memory

    -Anyone have similar problem

-Side Question: Does anyone know if the radio has a diagnosis setting?

ThanksRestart 2000 Ford Taurus Computer; want to avoid going to a dealer so I can troubleshoot.?Usually if you disconnect the ground from the battery for a couple of minutes and reconnect this should clear codes and light will go off. Most likely the light will re-appear though if problem still exists. If the radio has an anti-theft code it should say so right on the front of it.Restart 2000 Ford Taurus Computer; want to avoid going to a dealer so I can troubleshoot.?you need to take that to the shop because you will mess things

Why is there transmission fluid in my radiator?

I have a 1995 Fleetwood Cadillac, we had to replace the radiator shortly after we got the car. Since then we have been losing transmission fluid, my husband changed the fluid and screen and it was still slipping and when he went to flush the radiator he discovered where the trans fluid has been going. Why and how did it get in there? Was the radiator installed incorrectly? Also we have noticed a smell of antifreeze coming into the car. Is all of this linked and is there something major wrong, or can it be fixed easily? Why is there transmission fluid in my radiator? The radiator also contains a transmission fluid cooler, and they share the antifreeze solution. If the trans cooler section is leaking internally into the radiator, that would explain how the trans fluid got into your cooling system. When you replaced the radiator, was it a new unit or used/rebuilt? The new one may have been defective all along. Stranger things have happened.

Anyway, the best thing to do is to replace the radiator again, but this time, have it pressure tested before it is installed. Why is there transmission fluid in my radiator?Unfortunately, it's time to change that radiator again - and hopefully get one that lasts a longer this time. The transmission is cooled by separate tubes which are run through the engine coolant.

The %26quot;smell of antifreeze%26quot; inside the vehicle is almost always a sure sign that the heater core is seeping and also needs replacement. Why is there transmission fluid in my radiator?Antifreeze smell in the car is a leaking heater core. Costly repair in a 95 Fleetwood.

Transmission fluid in the radiator can only come from a ruptured tank. There is a tank inside the radiator that transmission fluid runs through. This is to cool the transmission. The tank has an internal leak. Installation had nothing to do with that. Trouble is, if antifreeze has gotten to the transmission, that will destroy it.

    Bad heater core,

    Bad radiator,

    Bad transmission (slipping),

Time to go shopping! Why is there transmission fluid in my radiator? At least it is a simple problem. The bottom of the radiator contains a transmission oil cooing loop, and that has failed. It is a common problem that requires replacement of the radiator. The transmission fluid is undoubtedly contaminated with coolant, but I have never known that to damage a transmission even when the fluid looked like a strawberry milkshake.

The cooling system should be flushed (about the only time I recommend cooling system flushes) and the transmission fluid should be changed. I am not familiar with Caddies, but if transmission flushes are approved the transmission should be flushed also. New radiator, new fluids, life is good again. EDIT - wait until this is done before worrying about the smell of antifreeze - we know there is one leak (inside the radiator into the transmission). Odds are that is the only one.Why is there transmission fluid in my radiator?the transmission fluid flows through the radiator to keep it cool. In the radiator there is a coil or heat exchanger that the trans fluid flows through and is cooled by the surrounding antifreeze. if this coil leaks the fluid will leak into the radiator and mix with the antifreeze and you will get antifreeze in your transmission as well.

I would call it a defective radiatorWhy is there transmission fluid in my radiator?Thats where the tranny fluid is cooled, they are kept separateWhy is there transmission fluid in my radiator? There is NO WAY that trans. fluid cana get into the radiator, unless you or someone else is putting it in.Why is there transmission fluid in my radiator?Wow!, you have another bad radiator, at the bottom of the radiator there are 2 tranny lines that run into a seperate chamber and the fluid is cooled this way but it is seperated from the radiator fluid, apparently this lower chamber has busted allowing the fluid to get into the radiator fluid, you will need a new radiator and you will also now need to get the tranny flushed out and a new tranny filter as the radiator fluid is now in your transmission, also the engine cooling system will need flushed to get the tranny fluid out of the engine and new coolant will need to be added. Why is there transmission fluid in my radiator?no dear it was installed right. what,s wrong is there is a hole in the cooler tank on the side of the radiator and the transmission fluid and anti-freeze is mixing. what you need to do is replace the radiator and check to see if you have anti-freeze in the transmission.

What gives? is there air in this system, and how does one remove it? is there a bleeder valve?

Thank you in advance!F150 engine cooling problem?check and see if there is anything stuck between the radiator and your a/c condenser. are the heater hoses getting hot? if not you are air locked and have to bleed the system=i usually use one of the heater core hoses to bleed by taking one off when it is running and purging the air out. but i would check a shop manual also because im not that familiar with the 4.2--dont see many with the v6F150 engine cooling problem?Check the cap,you didn't change that it could be the problem and fill it with the engine running so you see whats going on with the pump to make sure it's pulling in the water or if you get air bubbles, you could have a leak in the head gasket were oil and water are not mixing, that's the good news.I have the v8 and it still runs. You have any leaks?F150 engine cooling problem?try the fan cluth on the fan if u spin it if it spins more then a few times thats ur problem

I just bought a used 1998 Expedition with 132,000 miles. I'm not sure how work has been done, exept the oil change every 5,000 miles. I've heard of a lot of problems with a hose leaking and shorting out the coil. I'm using this as my towing vehicle and camping trip vehicle so it needs to be reliable(Yes, I know it is a Ford). Any auto shop will do it for you and advise you as to your needs ... but use one that is trustworthy.Would it be smart to replace all the radiator hoses in a used 1998 Expedition?I think so yeah. If not, it would definitely affect your car's cooling system. Change it while the problem is still small.Would it be smart to replace all the radiator hoses in a used 1998 Expedition? The hoses are 9 to 10 years old. I would think they are about due to be replaced. Since you will be towing with the expy then I would replace them for peace of mind. A visual inspection of the hoses will let you know if they need it or not. See if the old hoses are spongy or leaking. Also you may want to change the transmission fluid. Take it to a place that does a power flush, this will remove all the old fluid in the torque converter too. The brake fluid is another candidate for change. Brake fluid will absorb moisture and it will boil the moisture when the fluid gets hot. This will cause spongy brakes or even brake failure by putting air into the lines. good luck

  • How do I change the coolant on a 98 toyota 4 runner?

Never done it before and I'm pretty clueless around cars. There's a tube connecting the radiator to another reservoir that says coolant on the cap. Do I pour the water and antifreeze directly into the radiator or the other reservoir? Thanks! How do I change the coolant on a 98 toyota 4 runner?Drain the radiator from the petcock on the bottom right side of the radiator (could be in different place if it's been replaced).

Fill the radiator directly, it should hold about 2 gallons but the last 1/2 gallon or so you'll have to add slowly, letting the air come out. When it seems pretty full, start the engine and let it warm up. When the thermostat opens you'll be able to see the coolant flowing in the radiator.

Empty the coolant in the reservoir and refill that as well. Make sure the radiator cap is in decent condition (the rubber gaskets...)

Toyota coolant is pretty good stuff, I'd recommend it over anything from autozone, etc.

How much does it cost to change an engine mount and a transmission mount on 1995 buick century, V6, 3.1L?

When should the engine mount and transmission be replaced on a 1995 Buick Century LTD, with a V6 engine (3.1L). Also, is one of the engine mount located on top of the engine and connected to the body of the car on top of the radiator? Also, much does it cost? How much does it cost to change an engine mount and a transmission mount on 1995 buick century, V6, 3.1L?I can't give you an accurate number of how much they cost, and there is no recommended time of replacement. They are replaced on demand/failure. The ones secured over the rad (I call them %26quot;dog bones%26quot;) fail quite frequently and are easy to change. The transmission mount is a little harder to do and is required very seldom. The worst is the one under the front of the engine near the main pulley. All these cost not much, just labor. How much does it cost to change an engine mount and a transmission mount on 1995 buick century, V6, 3.1L?Lab is correct about the dog bones that are up top.The mount near the crank pulley usually needs Replacement due to oil leaking on it and the rubber breaks down. That one the cradle has to come down if not out and should be aligned. You only replace them if needed. If you are having a harsh shift check tranny fluid level. If you can get it to thump when power braking it is usually a mount.Do not power brake for longer than a couple of seconds and don't do it alot.Peace

How do you change the coolant in a 1995 Yamaha FZR 600 streetbike?

Just bought want to flush the radiator, just in case it has never been done before. ThanksHow do you change the coolant in a 1995 Yamaha FZR 600 streetbike?Changing your coolant:

    Remove radiator cap.

    Remove cap from overfill tank.

Place large drain pans on both sides of bike.

Remove overflow vent hose at radiator filler and aim the now open hose into the drain pan.

Undo the hose clamps from the large radiator hoses at the engine. (make certain the pans are large enough, or do it one side at a time)

    Pull hoses from engine flanges.

At this point all of the coolant will drain from both the radiator and the engine. If you turn the engine over a couple of times (not running, just cranking) you will spit out any left in the block.

    Replace hoses, caps etc.

Fill with whatever you will be using.

    Flushing your radiator:

If you need to flush the system, then only remove one hose and use a garden hose or equivalent (connected to a water supply ?tap water is ok) to run water through the system. When I do mine for the first time, I leave the lowest hose open, turn on the faucet and start the engine to flush the water jacketing. After about 2 minutes, turn off the engine, then the water and remove the other hoses and let it drain.

Fill with whatever you will be using.

    Note:

Many people have asked why I would use tap water (or water from a garden hose) when the service manual (and good sense) dictate the use of distilled water only to prevent corrosion. I only use tap water to flush the system, but always use distilled water and Water Wetter when refilling. When flushing, you need some decent pressure and a lot of water, so using distilled water for this purpose just isn't practical.

How to change a themostat on a 1991 Ford van?

The radiator is filled with coolant, but the van runs hot.How to change a themostat on a 1991 Ford van?To begin, you should make sure that it is the thermostat, since there are a couple of other problems that can give you the same symptoms. To diagnose the problem yourself, you must have a general knowledge of how the system works. There are 2 necessary steps that must be accomplished to cool the engine. 1. Water flow 2. Water cooling. The thermostat affects the water flow, by regulating it to a particular temperature. The water pump also affects the flow by propeling the water throught the system. One other factor affecting flow is the radiator if it is extremely dirty inside. This will slow the flow of water. The cooling of the water is affected by the amount of air being drawn across the cooling fins of the radiator, and the heat of the air. In other words, you need to find out if you have water flowing through the system when it is at or above normal temperature. If so, do you have air flowing across the cooling fins of the radiator. It could also be a combination of 2 or more things. For example, your radiator is slightly stopped up, and slowing the flow of the water, but with an outside temperature of 75 degrees, the air flowing across the radiator will still keep the temp below 200. Now given that it is now summer, you add the extra strain of running the A/C, plus the outside air is 100 degrees, plus it is now running through a hot A/C condenser before it even gets to the radiator, now it overheats. Just saying make sure before you do it because vans are not fun to work on anyway. How to change a themostat on a 1991 Ford van?You should go to www.autozone.com and click repair guides, if you want the right information it will tell you how to do the jobs.

Would a cracked radiator or a bad altinator cause your check engine light to come on?

I really have no idea im stupid when it comes to cars all i know is how to change the oil and tires lolWould a cracked radiator or a bad altinator cause your check engine light to come on?Absolutely not, neither of those items will set off the CEL.Would a cracked radiator or a bad altinator cause your check engine light to come on?no and no, check engine is just for engine, and sensors related to the engine running, go to local parts store and they will plug their code reader into it and tell you whats wrong, it could be something simple or something major,Would a cracked radiator or a bad altinator cause your check engine light to come on?If the coolant was low, the light would come on, also if you are low on oil. I don't think the alternator would because it would be a different light.Would a cracked radiator or a bad altinator cause your check engine light to come on?Your battery will die if your alternator is bad(the low battery light will come on if it's not too late) and if your radiator is leaking the low coolant light will come on once it loses enough fluid. Also, keep an eye on the water temperature gauge as it will be high if you are losing fluid. About 180 degrees is normal operating temp. while 220 can be seen while sitting in traffic.Would a cracked radiator or a bad altinator cause your check engine light to come on?a bad O2 sensor or a loose gas cap will put it on. you should get a code reader it will tell you exactly what cause the light to come on. those two are most commonWould a cracked radiator or a bad altinator cause your check engine light to come on?A cracked radiator will not cause the check engine light to come on. A bad alternator might cause the check engine light to come on because the computer (PCM) doesn't get all the volts that it usually gets. When the check engine light comes on, it usually means that somewhere, a sensor has gone bad. Go to autozone and they will scan your computer for free.

1993 ford probe overheating. ran very hot.?

I was on the interstate and afraid to stop so I kept running it...

Stopped by a mechanic the day before because my gauge said it was hot. He said it didn't look as if it was hot. poured water on it and sent me on my way.

I have a good water pump. radiator not leaking. changed fuses on fan belt. it is a little out of time but it has been for a while and never ran hot before. The thermostat is out so that isn't the cause. had the alternator belt replaced prior to it starting to run hot. Not backfiring but does lose power when driving. I do need an oil change but do not think that is the reason for it running hoe.

scared i may have cracked the head or whatever but need to know how to check.

Does anyone know what my solution may be. Need it fixed asap.1993 ford probe overheating. ran very hot.?It would run much cooler if it had a thermostat in it. You need to make sur that your fan is coming on when it should , you have two sensors on your engine for the fan or fans, one of them turns the fan on as soon as you turn your a/c unit on, the other one turns the fan on when your car reaches a set temparture. so if you turn the a/c unit on a fan should come on right then , if it does then that sensor is good. You now need to let the engine heat up to see if the fan come's on (this could take awhile ) if it doesn't come on you need to replace that sensor, because if it not coming on it letting the1993 ford probe overheating. ran very hot.?refill the rad with antifreeze and water, if possible, put more anti-freeze than water. see if that fixes it. if it does, you probably have a leak in your cooling system. the reason why i say to put more antifreeze than water is because antifreeze has colour to it. so it would be easier for your mechanic to find the leak than if it only had water in it,1993 ford probe overheating. ran very hot.?check for a switch underneath the driver side dash.1993 ford probe overheating. ran very hot.?1. Check your coolant level, could be low, pull the cap by the thermostat housing and make sure that it's full to the top that no air can get in, if it can then you want to squeeze the lower rad hose and get all of the air out.

    2. Check your oil level, also could be low

    3. Make sure your fans are coming on when they should.

    4. Pull your oil dipstick, take a lighter, and see if your oil will start on fire (oil will not, coolant will, so if it does then you have a bad head gasket.)

    5. Check to make sure your water pump belt is still there (if it doesn't steer hard then odds are it is, doesn't hurt to check though)\

    6. Take it to a mechanic and let them figure it out!

You never said if the %26quot;check engine%26quot; light comes on, but if it does, then do this: http://www.freeautomechanic.com/diagnost1993 ford probe overheating. ran very hot.?First thing you want to do is check the oil. When you get it changed, have them take a close look at it and see if they see any coolant mixed in. This would be an indication of a cracked head or a broken head gasket. You can check the dipstick and cap. There would be some sludge. That doesn't necessarily mean it's from that (moisture can get in there just from the air if it's not properly sealed), but it at least gives you a starting point

You mentioned the alternator belt was replaced. Is that also hooked up to the water pump? I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the tension in the belt itself.

Be sure to get the thermostat replaced. You said it's out now. You want it in there.1993 ford probe overheating. ran very hot.?your radiator may not be leaking, but it could be clogged with rust or dirt. have a radiator overhaul.

GoOd LuCk ((O_o))How do I fix My S-10 from ticking (lifter)?try a another weight oil

    or replace lifter

sorry lifter ticking is a chevy problem its always been i been driving 40 yrs

i drive fords when i can

but that chevy might tick for years as well try going up a oil weight

In general, are Audis difficult to service?

Some German cars are difficult to service. The designs are very complicated. I heard that Audi A4 require that you take off the front bumper skin and grill to change a headlight bulb and some major body parts need to be taken off to change the water pump. Is this true or at least my impression? I heard that 1980's Maserati Biturbos needed radiator removal to change the oil...very stupid design or designed by someone with no regard to costs and labor. How about Audis, particularly the A4? I am looking for a slightly better car, like Volvo S60, Saab 9-3, Acura TSX, Lexus IS250 AWD, etc.In general, are Audis difficult to service?Audi's are complicated and repair costs will reflect that fact. Audi shops also charge a lot in labor, compared with Honda/Acura mechanics for example. Audi's are also known for their electrical gremlins. If you are concerned about repair costs, I would avoid Audi or stay under a warranty. In general, are Audis difficult to service?Expensive to service. In general, are Audis difficult to service?Yes, I've done that headlight job, it's a joke but not a funny joke. They have lifetime tranny fluid, lifetime, are you kidding me? You can't even check the one I dealt with. Yes expensive to maintain. In general, are Audis difficult to service?NO you dont have to remove the whole front end to change a headlight

How do you change the thermostat on a 98 BMW 323is?

My car continues to overheat and my husband has replaced the radiator, the hoses and the coolant resevoir. So we think it must be the thermostat. 1999 Sable-- No Heat?

Hi Everyone-We aren't getting any heat and we could hear a squealing noise. We just had a new radiator put in about 4 months ago and we keep checking it to make sure we have no leaks. The fluid was going down a little and we think we solved that problem by getting a new radiator cap. We live in Massachusetts and need the heat!! My question is--could it be a belt? Or maybe the water pump? Or just a thermostat? I guess i could take it to a service station and have them put it on a computer to find out, but--they charge so much and seeing xmas is right around the corner I am sort of strapped. I just had all new brakes put on and bought a new battery and also the radiator. Should we change the thermostat first and see if it's that? I'm so confused. My b/f will do the work although he isn't a mechanic but has helped others on their cars and he is pretty good. Any help will be very much appreciated and I will let Santa know how you tried to help me. HO HO HO. TYVM!!!!1999 Sable-- No Heat? The squealing is either the Serpentine Belt Tensioner or the Idler Pulley or a combination of the two. Given that this is a 99' Sable adn I've been bit by this one before I always recommend replacing both the complete tensioner assembly and the idler pulley at the same time. Both are highly prone to failure anyway.

That is not why your vehicle has no heat though.

Assuming your coolant level is good Sable's are also notorious for literally eating thermostats. On the very first really cold day of winter I will see in my shop on average 6-7 Taurus/Sable's that have thermostats that have either just failed or have literally fallen apart. This (along with the radiator cap) should have been replaced at the same time as the radiator. If your engine temperature guage is not rising quickly or not going up to normal operating temp that is a good indicator your T-stat is the problem.

A $60 coolant flush every other year would have prevented all of this.1999 Sable-- No Heat?I'd start with the thermostat, it's cheap enough to replace. But the squealing noise makes me think it's the water pump. Not so cheap or easy to replace.1999 Sable-- No Heat?you say you can hear a squealing noise,is it when you rev the engine,if it is when you rev the engine then the water pump has gone.but you would notice water coming out from under the engine.there are three possibilties for no heat (1) the sensor on the side of the engine block has gone(2) you have a airlock in your system that needs bleeding(3)like you said thermostat

hope this helps you1999 Sable-- No Heat?the squealing noise is from the belt slipping against the pulley or from the bearing on the pulley which is already kaputt.....try changing the belt or the pulley's bearing...1999 Sable-- No Heat?it my be a thermostat or the heat core my have air in it from the wen they changed the radiator but on a saab the themostat a job you want to do if you don't know what you are doing its only easy on some cars1999 Sable-- No Heat?Possible Bad Idler Pulley for the Belt Squeal?

I had the same problem on my 92 accord and went threw 5 chappies till i went to the dealer. the next month no heat..............flushed the heater NOW I'm toasty....LOL

Once an aga has been installed?

Our AGA does not heat our water or any radiators, can we change it to heat our water, what about heat a few radiators and also how easy would it be to do or would it need to be reinstalled?Once an aga has been installed? The whole thing will have to be dismantled to fit the water tank unfortunately and as I recall, according to AGA the stoves will only heat the hot water and only if the storage tank is within a certain pipe run. (about 30ft I think - it is 16 years since we fitted ours ! )Once an aga has been installed?Hi there, if the Aga can still be accessed at the rear where the pipework connections go, you should be O.K. If you look at the side and rear and see if you find the connections, that should be enough for a plumber to connect to. You will still have to get the Flow %26amp; Return connected to your existing system, and disconnect whatever was heating your radiators previously. You will also have to consider controls for the system, such as a pump on the system or gravity feed only. If it is pumped, you can use that to run your radiators and heat your hot water through an indirect cylinder coil quite efficiently.

I would first decide what I wanted, ideally. Then get 3 plumbers to quote for the work, then look at each quote and decide which is best for quality and cost. It does seem a waste to have the facility ther and not take advantage of it.

    Good luck.

Any mechanics on here or anyone that can answer a radiator question?

I know a little about cars. I have changed timing belts alternator belts alternators etc... I need a new radiator for my car. I think i could probably save quite a bit of money to do it myself. Is this an extremely difficult task to accomplish? Also, anyone have an estimate of about how much a mechanic would charge? Thanks in advanceAny mechanics on here or anyone that can answer a radiator question?Depending on the car, if you've changed the things you've changed it shouldn't be hard. Have to take off the fan shroud, and fans. Upper and lower radiator hoses, two transmission cooling lines and hold down screws where ever they are on your car. Take out radiator and put new one in, Can save a bunch.

I supervised two twenty year old girls on a 2001 Neon and they did all the work.

Good luck.Any mechanics on here or anyone that can answer a radiator question?I'm not a mechanic, but I've changed a radiator before. It isn't that hard to do (depending on the car). You would save yourself a lot of money by doing it yourself. Be prepared to drain the coolant. Usually a upper and lower hose and transmission coolant lines (if your car has an automatic transmission). A few bolts. Front-wheel drive cars, you may have to remove the fans. The newer the car, the harder the job gets. Use your best judgment. It's not the easiest job, but its not rocket science either.Any mechanics on here or anyone that can answer a radiator question? It sure does help to state the Year, Make, and Model and preferably engine size in this section.Any mechanics on here or anyone that can answer a radiator question?most mechanics charge like 60$ per hr and its not that hard of a job, theres really nothin to it. its a easier than changing a timing beltAny mechanics on here or anyone that can answer a radiator question?not that hard.......btw in the US https://www.1800radiator.com/ is hard to beat on prices.......for the part.....but i would also tell u to check around locally

my wife's radiator cost 199 at auto-zone and advance and oreilly's but napa had it with same warranty for 139....and those buildings are literally next to each other in my town......

as for doing the work ir ur unsure buy haynes manual for ur car and follow directions its not hard.......Any mechanics on here or anyone that can answer a radiator question? If you can change a timing belt or alternator you surely can change out a radiator without any trouble. Just go for itAny mechanics on here or anyone that can answer a radiator question? Its pretty strait forward, Just remove the cover over the fan blade, disconnect the hoses and remove the bolts and slip it out, Do the reverse to put it back in, Now the most important thing is refilling the radiator, Just pouring it in will leave you air pockets ao to relieve this problem, jack up the front of the car just a little(this will allow the air pocket to vent themselves out), than start the engine, and slowly fill the radiator allowing time for it to go threw the motor and heater core(turn the heater on full blast by the way) you will notice alot of bubbling, Thats normal, even a little over flow is normal. Once the bubbling has stopped and the radiator is full lower the car and test drive for about ten minutes and check the levels again. Good luck

I filled my engine with water... how do I fix it?

I have a 1996 dodge intrepid. I was trying to do a radiator flush, and installed the garden hose adapter into the wrong hose( the hose in the top of the engine marked %26quot;heater%26quot;), and filled my engine with water... oil pan had more than a gallon of water in it... it's draining now... what else do I need to do besides an oil change?I filled my engine with water... how do I fix it?just do an oil change on it once its all drained out, but i still don't see how you got water in it by doing it that way,the hose your talking about suppose to go to the heater core, you,d have to literally open up the oil fill cap and fill it with water to get oil in the pan on it,that's normally a closed system on that car, anyway let it all drain out and change the oil and run it about 30 minutes them change it again and it will be alright, good luck,EDIT try and let it drain out as long s possible the fill it with oil and see if it will start and run for at least a few minutes,i know the hose your talking about now on it,it hasn't done any damage as of yet but it will if you cant get it started and dried out,its not going to be a real costly mistake just one you,ll remember for a while, once it starts it will evaporate what water is left in the engine but still do two oil changes on it to be sure, good luckI filled my engine with water... how do I fix it?A brain?I filled my engine with water... how do I fix it?This has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever read on here. Get a haynes manual before you do stuff like this especially if you don't know what the heck your doing. I'm curious if you cranked the motor or did you realize it pretty quick. I would pull the spark plugs and spray some wd-40 in the cylinders and crank the motor couple times to blow any moisture out. plus obviously change your oil a couple of times.I filled my engine with water... how do I fix it?um if u have been turning the key over with water in ur motor u might need a new motor.........that is a sure fire way to break the pistons crack the heads spin the rods etc....

bottom line drain the oil refill with fresh oil......start motor let it come up to operating temp.........trun it off and check everything again...then change oil again in about 2 days.....I filled my engine with water... how do I fix it?you should be alright just draining the oil and refilling with fresh oil. the water should evaporate out as soon as you get the engine hot. if you have milky looking oil after you run if for a couple hundred miles change it again. just dont leave the engine sit for a long time until you know all the water is out- run it every day.

How do i re-fill my car radiator without getting any ait locks?

can anyone help? i have a 1998 ford escort 1.6 16v zetec and i need to change my thermostat, i have no problem doing that its just i know im going to get an air lock as soon as i loose water from the thermostat when i change it, i just need to find out how to re-fill my radiator without getting an air lock, can you please help???

thanksHow do i re-fill my car radiator without getting any ait locks?after fitting thermostat fill radiator turn your heater to hot dont need blower on leave top off expansion tank and let the engine idle you will see the water rising as air is escaping keep topping water up until no more air comes out the main reason for air locks is because people forget to turn heater up to hot this stops the small radiator inside the car from filling. How do i re-fill my car radiator without getting any ait locks?Run it up to Temperature with the water cap off

When its up there %26quot;squeeze%26quot; the water pipe below the rad so that the air bubbles come out in the opening of the water cap

When the bubbles stop and its just water coming to the surface then you've got rid of the air lock

Good luckHow do i re-fill my car radiator without getting any ait locks?Fill it up, run it a while, and it should blow any air up to the top of the system, CAREFULLY..release the air by CAREFULLY removing the cap on the header tank, and then top up when it has cooled down a little.

How easy is it to flush the radiator to a Honda accord engine.?

I just refilled the radiator with antifreeze after leaving the cap off on accident when driving. But I have never flushed the radiator. If it has been flushed, it would have been done during oil changes. Should I do it now? I just refilled my radiator. I know I should do it to get rid of rust and other forign objects but what other benefits are there? How easy is it to flush the radiator to a Honda accord engine.?An engines cooling system should be flushed out at least every couple of years.Anti-freeze never looses it freeze protection provided no water is added but the rust and corrosion inhibitors break down and can and will cause damage in an engine. If your not comfortable doing it just have it done at a shop,it shouldn,t cost a lot of money. But if you do it yourself just open the drain plug located on the bottom of the radiator and catch the old coolant and dispose of it properly. And then open a heater hose and run clean water thru the open radiator cap until it begins to run out the heater hose.At first it will be green(the old anti-freeze) and then it will turn clear as you get out all the old anti-freeze.Then stop adding water and let it drain again until it stops. Then close the radiator drain but leave the heater hose open and held up as high as it will go.Then beginn adding the new anti-freeze,you will see water begin to come out of the open heater hose but this is good just keep adding more anti-freeze until it begins to turn green, at this time you know that you have pushed most of the plain water thru the radiator the engine block and it has now worked it,s way all the way to the heater hoses.Continue adding new anti-freeze until what comes out your heater hose looks like straight anti-freeze and then reattach the heater hose and tighten the clamp. Now top off the radiator and the coolant overflow or recovery tank and then run the engine until the thermostat opens(the top radiator hose gets hot to the touch) and make sure that the radiator is still full and then put the rad. cap back on and top off the recovery tank. Then go drive the vehicle for 5 or 10 miles and come back and recheck the level in the coolant recovery tank and top off if needed. And thats all there is to it.Also check the freeze protection, it should be good to about 20 below to be safe.Good luck. How easy is it to flush the radiator to a Honda accord engine.?to me there is nothing better than good clean coolant in an engine. flush it as often as you like. it cannot hurt the engine as long as you replace the anti-freeze with the recommended type and amount you should be fine. flushing is easy...just open the drain plug on the bottom of radiator and run cold water through the radiator while it drains out the bottom. make sure the car is running, of course to flush the debris out of the engine block, heater core, etc.

once the water runs clear, then close the drain and refill to normal levels with coolant and water. How easy is it to flush the radiator to a Honda accord engine.?If you just filled it, leave it be.. whats the water look like, what makes you think you need to flush? Any parts store sells a can of rad flush.. just do as it says to, make sure you remove hoses and flush out good with clean water once your done.. Best I can tell you..ROB

http://www.slantfin.com/heat-loss-softwaHow do I know the output of the radiator to buy?Multiply the volume of the room in ft cubed by 5 to get an approximate BTU needed to heat the room How do I know the output of the radiator to buy? This is what I use: Good luck.

    Sizeing Radiators

The size of radiator required for a room depends on two factors. Firstly, the temperature that you want it to be able to maintain which is a relatively straightforward task and you can use the table below as a guide: -A huge range of radiators can be bought here and you can work out exactly what you need by using the BTU calculator on the same page

    Ideal Room Temperatures (deg C)

    Lounge 21

    Dining Room 21

    Kitchen 16

    Bedrooms 15

    Bathroom 23

    Stairs 18

Secondly, the heat loss from your room. The calculations for this are quite complex since they depend upon the size of windows, numbers of doors and, in particular, the construction materials used in the building (Click here to calculate the 'U' values) to get an accurate radiator size. Too big and the system will overshoot its temperature and be less economical to run, to small and it won't reach its desired temperature. (Some of the poorer installers get round this complex step by putting in radiators that are to big, and then fitting thermostatic radiator valves to every radiator to cut the heat down.) This calculation produces a heat loss figure in watts, of how much heat you need to warm that room up to the design temperature from -3 deg C in one hour.

Heat and Plumb can supply: Traditional Radiators, Vertical Radiators, Low Surface Temperature Radiators, Aeon Designer Radiators, Electric Radiators, Night Storage Heaters, Automatic radiator Bleeders, Column Radiators, Cast Iron Radiators, Stelrad Radiators

A quick and easy way to calculate the size of the radiator required for any room in your house is by measuring the room in cubic feet and then applying the following factors to the figure arrived at: - To work out the exact BTU vlaue, click here for a calculator halfway fddown the page.

Lounges and dining rooms Multiply cubic feet by 5

Bedrooms Multiply cubic feet by 4

Common areas and kitchens Multiply cubic feet by 3

For rooms facing north Add 15%

    For French windows Add 20%

    For double glazing Deduct 10%

This will give you the output of any radiator in BTUs (British Thermal Units). Adding the total for all the rooms in your home will give you the approximate demand in BTUs for the whole house. Add 20% to the total for a hot water circulating tank and 10% for general losses. This will give you the boiler size you need for your house. Obviously these calculations are approximate and while giving you an excellent idea of the sizes you will require, it would be best to get this checked by the installer.

It is very unlikely that any radiator will match the exact heat required, so select the first size of radiator above the heat requirement. With rooms greater than 6 meters (18ft) in any one direction, it is worth considering distributing a number of radiators to minimise the thermal gradient within the room. My 65 mustang is overheating in a short period of driving what can be the reason?

Could it be that the radiator fluid needs to be change, if so how can i do that?My 65 mustang is overheating in a short period of driving what can be the reason? The most common things that come to mind are:

Check your coolant level - If it is too low, fill it up with 50/50 mix of anti-freeze coolant and water.

Make sure that there is no blockage to the air that flows across the radiator.

The thermostat could be stuck closed. An easy, cheap repair to replace.

The fan belt that drives the water pump could be missing. Install new fan belt.

The coolant pump could be stuck. Replace the pump. Again, a fairly easy repair.

One nice thing about a '65 Mustang is that not only is it very easy to repair, but also that most repair parts are still available from your Ford dealer. What Ford does not have, there are lots of aftermarket manufacturers that produce excellent repair parts. My 65 mustang is overheating in a short period of driving what can be the reason? This is a 44 year old car. What is the condition of the radiator? If you havent changed the fluid repeatedly then flush the radiator and change the thermostat. I am betting you may need a new radiator or are low on fluid. If the thermostat is bad it will sometimes collapse the hoses because it creates a vacuum in the radiator. This could also be a waterpump issue. These are relatively cheap, but you could spend 400- 500 on a a waterpump, new radiator, antifreeze and thermostat. My 65 mustang is overheating in a short period of driving what can be the reason?if over a short distance you mean less than 20 miles it is probably one of the the following 1 the thermostat is stuck 2 the radiator is dirty 3 the water pump is inop. quick and dirty testing with te engine cold make sure the radiator is full look at the belts and (WITH THE ENGINE OFF KEY IN POCKET) check to see if the belt that goes over the pulley in the middle (the one the fan is on) is tight tighten or replace if needed then ok thru the front of the car and see if the fins are blocked with debris/dirt ok next start the eng and very carefully check the upper radiator hose (squeeze it) as the engine warms up the thermostat will not allow water thru the hose until it reaches a certain temp ie most motors of that era are 180-185 rev the motor the hose should try to push your fingers apart if you dont feel any water pressure - like a garden hose- then replace the thermostat about $10 and easy to DIY if not fixed find someone who knows motors and get there help or take it to a shop to have it tested - cheaper than buying a new motor-other things that can cause this lean fuel condition, defective exhaust, incooerct valve/ignition timing etc how this helps GLMy 65 mustang is overheating in a short period of driving what can be the reason?Could be a bad vacuum advance and some one advanced the timing to get it to idle correctly.Could be restricted water flow in the radiator core. These cars were notorius for over heating when new back in 1965.You might consider placeing a air dam under the bumper frame area to help divert cool air threw the radiator. My 65 mustang is overheating in a short period of driving what can be the reason?Could be a few things . You might need a new themostat, which is not to hard If there is a reservoir check that the cap is in good condition the worst it could be is a crack inthe block or a head gasket. How easy is it to change the break pads on a peugeot 306?

I have a 306 diesel and need to change the front break pads on my 306. i have done regular maintenance on it and change the oil, filters etc etc and drained the coolant from the radiator etc etc. i have to haynes manual for this car so is it pretty easy to do. also is it worth doing the discs as well? How easy is it to change the break pads on a peugeot 306?Front pads should take an average 'kerbside' mechanic about 45 minutes per side once the wheels are off.- longer if you have the usual 4 cuppa's! Ensure the car is adequately supported remove the bolts securing the pads in place, then using a couple of large flat bladed screwdrivers gradually force the pads %26amp; piston back into the calliper ( alternating ends). Discs may require you to remove the calliper assembly with a splined drive socket - size 50 torx ( it did when I changed them on my 406 as the discs will not go over the hubs) If you do the discs as well - about 75-90 minutes per sideHow easy is it to change the break pads on a peugeot 306?simple enough but you may need certain tools to remove calipers before discs,in order to remove pads find a g clamp to push slowly the pistons back fully put in pads with a small amount of copper grease only on the rear of pads then remove full caliper to remove disc but be careful of just letting it hang by its rubber pipe. How easy is it to change the break pads on a peugeot 306?Just to add to the first answer re the discs - if they are wearing thin, have a lip all round the outer rim, are badly corroded or scored it is best to replace them at the same time as the pads. Not always easy to get them off without a puller but some do come straight off. refer to Haynes. How easy is it to change the break pads on a peugeot 306?Wow! Three good answers already.

    Only a little to add.

Rotors have a minimum thickness, usually stamped on them.

Your rotors may be able to be skimmed if they have suitable thickness left.

They should have no lips, discolouration, grooves etc

Make sure your replacement pads look identical to the ones on your car before getting too far into the job (ie check as soon as you get a wheel off). There are often different pads and the shop may not have got it right....

  • How do I adjust the temperature on my radiator?

My dorm room has a big, old radiator under the window and I don't know how to change the temperature. There is a black knob on top that screws in and out - will that change the temperature? If so, will screwing it all the way in or all the way out make the room warmer? How do I adjust the temperature on my radiator?Radiators are usually filled with water, but sometimes oil. The liquid is heated in a central furnace and the hot liquid then carried by pipes to each radiator unit. The screw will open or close the inlet that allows the flow of liquid through it. My Guess is screwing it in will close the valve and out will open it.

Of course, if the central boiler or heat unit is not on then you will not be able to gain any heat from it.

You can also place a small fan on the floor near the radiator to blow air across it. This will help heat up the room quicker. How do I adjust the temperature on my radiator?yes if the heat is on it will make it wormer by screwing it out and cooler by screwing it in to make it cooler.
