The fan shroud is a bit of a pain, but the radiator is only two hoses and 4 bolts. At that point the pump should be fairly easy to get to. It took him about an hour to do it by himself, but we made sure he had someone who knew what they were doing supervising. Took a little longer than normal because the adult didn't assist just made sure it was done right. It was a learning experience. I will warn you make sure you get a radiator with a warranty, I replaced my factory one and within a year it blew the top seal, that's why he had to change it in order to borrow it for the weekend.
